CONTACT is the first Russian money transfer and payment system. Founded in 1999. On August 3, 2012, the CONTACT payment system was registered in the registry of payment system operators of the Bank of Russia under the number 0001. In April 2013, the Bank of Russia awarded the CONTACT Payment system the socially significant status. Operator – QIWI Bank (JSC).

The CONTACT payment system is one of the three largest participants in the money transfer market in Russia and neighboring countries. CONTACT partners are more than 900 Russian and international banks and financial organizations, the network of service points includes over 500,000 points, including payment terminals.
