Money Transfers
from Israel to Azerbaijan

Instant payout in cash or to a card

How it works

Money transfers to Azerbaijan with direct deposit to a card are sent directly by our company. This allows funds to be credited to cards of any Azerbaijani banks almost instantly and without intermediaries.

If you choose a cash payout, the transfer is processed via UPT (Universal Payment Transfer) – one of the world’s leading money transfer systems. MoneySend is an accredited UPT partner in Israel.

You can send a transfer using either of these methods online on our website. When sending a cash transfer, you will receive a unique control number after payment confirmation. You can use it to track the transfer status on the UPT website, and the recipient will be able to pick up the cash at partner bank branches in Azerbaijan or independently deposit the funds to their bank card online via their bank’s mobile app.

How to send a money transfer to Azerbaijan

1. Calculate the transfer cost

Provide the main details of the money transfer:

  • payout method – to a card (*) or cash (**)
  • transfer currency
  • transfer amount

Then click the “Calculate” button. We will calculate the transfer amount in Shekels based on the current exchange rate, the transfer fee, and the total amount in Shekels that will be charged to your credit card. The exchange rate will be locked until the transaction is completed to ensure the recipient is paid exactly the amount you are sending.

We have no hidden fees or charges. Thus, your credit card will be charged exactly the amount you see on the screen before confirming the transfer.

(**) Cash payouts in foreign currency are subject to the availability of USD and/or EUR at the respective branch. If foreign currency cash is unavailable, the recipient will be offered a payout in Manats at the exchange rate set by the bank on the day of the payout.

2. Enter recipient details

Specify who and where you want to send the money transfer to:

  • Recipient’s first name

  • ID number (Teudat Zehut)

Then click the Pay button.

We accept 3D Secure enabled credit cards issued in Israel. 3D Secure is a two-factor authentication protocol that ensures the payment is made by the actual cardholder, protecting against fraudulent transactions. The service is provided by Visa and MasterCard payment systems under the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode programs, respectively.

6. Completion and transfer status

After payment confirmation, the details of your transfer will be displayed on the screen:

If you selected a cash transfer, you will also receive the control number in a WhatsApp message. If you provided the recipient’s phone number when sending, they will also receive an SMS with this number.

If you chose a direct transfer to a card, the money will be credited automatically within a few minutes, and a control number is not required for receipt.
