22 Oct Money Transfers to Belarus: to a Card at Any Bank
You can now send money transfers to Belarus to a Visa card issued by any Belarusian bank.
How it works
Enter the recipient’s name and their Visa card number. The money will be credited to the card within minutes after the transfer is confirmed. The recipient doesn’t need to visit a branch or install an app.
The money transfer is sent in euros. The Visa Direct payment system automatically converts the transfer amount into Belarusian rubles.
Important: check the currency of the recipient’s card
To avoid double conversion, send the transfer to a card in Belarusian rubles (BYN). If the card is in another currency, the transfer will still arrive, but the recipient’s bank will convert it a second time at its own rate. The final amount may be noticeably smaller. Before sending, check with the recipient which currency their card is in.
When transfers are processed
On business days from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Transfers are not processed on Saturdays.
If the money transfer is not credited, we will refund the full amount, including the fee.
