Money transfers to Azerbaijan are sent via the Korona money transfer system. This is a payment service system operating in the CIS countries, as well as in Turkey, Israel, European countries and a number of countries in Southeast Asia..
MoneySend is an accredited Korona partner in Israel. You can send a translation online on our website. You can receive the transfer in the Korona mobile application, on the Korona website, or in cash at service centers.
How to send a money transfer to Azerbaijan
1. Tell us how much money you want to send
- Select destination country
- Select the sending currency
- Enter the transfer amount
- Click the “Calculate” button
We will calculate the transfer amount in shekels based on the current exchange rate, the transfer fee and the total amount in shekels that will be debited from your credit card. The exchange rate will be fixed until the end of the transaction to ensure that the recipient is paid the exact amount you send.
We have no hidden commissions or fees. This way, your credit card will be charged exactly the amount that you see on the screen before you confirm the transfer.
2. Tell us who're you sending to
We’ll ask you for some basic information about your recipient:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number (optional)
- Account number (IBAN) for transfers to a bank account
3. Tell us a little about yourself
We’ll ask you for some basic information about yourself:
- First name
- Last name
- Birthdate
- Teudat zehut number
- Phone number
Your phone number will be verified using a WhatsApp message with the 4-digit verification code. In order to continue, you will need to enter this verification code.
4. Make sure everything looks good
We’ll show you a summary of your transfer. If everything looks good, click Next. You can also press Back and make any changes you need to.
5. Pay for your transfer online with a credit card
Fill in your credit card details:
- 16-digit card number
- Expiration date
- CVC code (3 digits on the back side)
- Teudat zehut number
Then press Pay.
We accept credit cards issued in Israel with 3D secure support. 3D Secure (3-domain secure), also known as Payer Authentication is a security protocol to prevent fraud in transactions with credit and debit cards online. Currently, this service is provided by Visa and MasterCard under the name Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode, respectively.
6. Get a transfer control number
After confirmation of payment, the transfer is sent for processing. After some time, you will receive a message via SMS or WhatsApp confirming the shipment and the transfer number.

How to receive money transfers in Azerbaijan
Card payout
If the sender indicated the recipient’s phone number when sending, an SMS with a link to the Korona mobile application will be sent to this number. If the recipient already has the Korona mobile app installed, they will receive a push notification about an incoming transfer. If the sender has not indicated the recipient’s phone number, the recipient can independently download the mobile application or receive the transfer on the Korona website. In this case, the sender must inform the recipient of the transfer number.

Cash payout
You can receive the transfer in cash at Zolotaya Korona distribution points. To receive a transfer, you will need its number, as well as an identification document of the recipient (passport).
